heaven on earth

As we sit by the waterside.. i watch her smile

She stops time with every move she makes
I pull her closer, put my arms around her
trying to make every moment last
I could feel the chilli air biting at my skin
but it was her warm breath that made my heart stand still
Her eyes so beautiful in the moonlight
rivaled the brightness of all the city lights and the stars
I take in every touch, every sight
She moves her fringe away from her face
Her fingers interlock with mine..
Our lips touch for a tender kiss..
I hold her close in an embrace
at that moment I knew it would be hard to let go
for our lives were intertwined
moments like these replay in my mind
perfect as the day they transpired
how i wish i could relive those times
but i know theres more to come
but now and forever ill cherish every second we've shared
