how i wish i spent this day with you
sharing food, stories and laughter
holding hands, touching softly
how i wish i woke up next to you
kiss you lightly to wake you
hold you close, let you know im there
whisper good morning in your ear
tell you how beautiful i thought you were
how i wish we shared lunch together
i would smile cheekily across you
as i get caught staring at you
not being able to help admiring your beauty
how i wish we spent the afternoon lazily
maybe on a picnic, lying down on the grass
imagining clouds into stories
marvelling at how big the sky is
watching it turn black as the sun disappears
then i would marvel at the stars
tell you how i always thought of you everytime i see it
coz no matter how far you were
it comforted me to know we were under the same stars
i would point at the star on the right of orion
i would tell you how it belongs to you
just like my heart..
